Cute Magnetic Spice Rack you can make!

Here's a great tip from Tip Nut and apartmenthomesteader.blogspot.com

Another great use for those paint markers I boasted about!  By the way, speaking of paint markers, and not to get off subject, but I made this rock to put at the mailboxes (they are all bunched together on our side of the road, on my property line)

Recycle Small Jars Into Magnetic Spice Organizers: {DIY}

Today’s feature is from Little Apartment On The Prairie with Baby Food Jars to Magnetic Spice Rack:

I put mine on the fridge, but you could easily install a metal strip under kitchen cupboard to hang them near your counters as well. Just a note: I would hang them somewhere cool and dry. It will extend the life of your spices and the jars will be easier to open (uh, yeah that is another story).
The supplies needed are basic and if you can re-purpose some baby food jars or small canning jars you have on hand, the cost is minimal. You’ll need: jars, glue, spray paint (for the lids) and heavy duty magnets. No super crafty ability required!
Arrange the jars on your fridge or on a metal sheet attached to a wall in the pantry.
Please visit the site listed above for all the details, clever idea! Remember to keep herbs and spices away from a heat source to prolong shelf life.
