Re-inventing kitchen gadgets

I have a few of these but one thing I dislike about them is, that handle. It needlessly takes up room in the cabinets. 

It's also not dishwasher safe. 

I've re-invented it. 

And even the dust cover still works in it.

And just for fun, let's multi-task a tool, shall we?
