Beer Bread Mix Recipes (things to do with the mix)

At the bottom of this post, for your convenience, I posted the beer bread mix recipe (if you search my blog, I have posted this before once or twice) . Its easy and requires basics...no bisquick, just basics most people have on hand.

Beer Bread Pizza

Bountiful beer bread mix (or homemade version)
12 oz beer
Veg oil
Pizza sauce
Toppings

Combine first two ingredients. Cover and let rest 5 min. Grease hands with oil, press dough onto greased pizza pan Bake at 375° for 15-20 mins. Top with sauce and toppings and bake an addition 10-15 mins or until heated through. Crust will be thick and chewy.

Beer bread Biscuits

Beer bread mix
1 T spinach and herb seasoning
12 oz beer
1-2 T garlic garlic
1 c shredded cheddar cheese
3 T melted butter

Combine herb mix, beer and cheese. Add beer bread mix, stir 20 sec. Drop dough by generous Tablespoons onto greased pizza stone or baking sheet. Add Garlic Garlic to butter and drizzle over each biscuit. Bake at 350° for 25-30 mins. Makes 8-12 servings.

Garlic, Olive and Cheese Bread

Beer bread mix
2 T garlic garlic
12 oz beer
½ c sliced black olives
1 c shredded cheddar cheese
3 T melted butter

Combine first 5 ingredients. Pour into greased loaf pan; drizzle with butter. Bake at 375° for 35-40 mins.










Pepperoni Cheese Bread

Beer bread mix
2-3 T garlic garlic
12 oz beer
2 c grated mozzarella cheese
1 c sliced pepperoni

Combine ingredients, pour into greased loaf pan. Bake at 375° for 60-75 mins.

Cinnamon Beer Bread

Beer bread mix
12 oz mountain dew
½ c cinnamon chips
3 T melted butter
1 T sugar

Combine first three ingredients. Pour into greased loaf pan. Drizzle with butter and sprinkle with sugar. Bake at 375° 35-40 minutes.

Cinnamon Vanilla Beer bread

Beer bread mix
12 oz vanilla coke
3 T sugar
1 c cinnamon chips

Combine all ingredients, pour into greased loaf pan. Bake at 375° for 35-40 mins.

Mexican Beer Bread

Beer bread mix
12 oz beer
15 oz can creamed corn
1 c yellow cornmeal
4 oz can whole green chilies
1 c shredded cheddar cheese
4 T melted butter
Seasoned salt

Combine first four ingredients. Pour half of batter into greased 9 x 13 baking dish. Separate chilies into strips and lay on batter. Sprinkle with cheese. Spread remaining batter on top over chilies and cheese. Drizzle with butter and sprinkle with seasoned salt. Bake at 375° for 45-50 mins or until golden brown Cool slightly and cut into squares.


Cranberry Nut Bread

Beer bread mix
1 c dried cranberries
½ c chopped walnuts
12 oz can mountain dew

Combine all ingredients, spread into greased loaf pan. Bake at 375° for 35-40 mins.

Cranberry Orange Walnut Bread

Beer bread mix
¾ c sprite
¾ c orange juice
½ c jellied cranberry sauce
Chopped walnuts
2-3 t sugar

Combine first three ingredients. Stir in cranberry sauce and walnuts.
For muffins, pour batter into greased muffin tins and bake at 400° for 18-20 minutes. For bread, bake in a greased loaf pan at 375° for 50-55 mins. Sprinkle sugar on top of muffins or loaf before baking.

Irish Soda Bread

Beer bread mix
12 oz can carbonated beverage (beer, club soda, mountain dew)
2 c raisins
1 T caraway seeds

Preheat oven to 375° Combine bread mix, raisins, and caraway seeds in a large bowl. Pour in carbonated beverage. Quickly and firmly stir together for 25-30 seconds. Do not overmix. Batter will be lumpy. Pour into greased 9 inch loaf pan and bake 50-55 mins. Wonderful served hot or cool completely.



Sausage Bread

Beer bread mix
12 oz beer
1 lb Italian sausage crumbled and cooked
½ c romano cheese shredded (parm will do)
3 T butter

Preheat oven to 375° Mix bread mix, with beer, fold in sausage and cheese. Place in greased loaf pan and top with butter. Bake 55 mins or until golden brown.


Dip in your fav spaghetti sauce.

Beer Batter Fish

1 c bountiful beer batter mix
1 c beer
Combine and dip fish in and fry





Banana Bountiful Beer Bread

bountiful beer bread mix ( listed the mix recipe at the bottom or see my blog if you lose it)
12 oz gingerale
2-3 mashed over ripe bananas
1-2 T cinnamon sugar
3 T melted butter
creamy caramel sauce (I am sure you can use the topping for ice cream or make your own)


Combine first four ingredients. Pour into greased loaf pan top with butter. Bake at 350° for 50-55 mins. Poke top with knife and pour warmed creamy caramel sauce
Cool completely.

Bountiful Holiday Bread

Bountiful beer bread mix
12 oz black cherry soda
¼-½ c chopped pecans
1 c chopped maraschino cherries
½ c chopped dates

Combine all ingredients. Bake at 350° for 50-55 mins.


Bountiful Cornbread

bountiful beer bread mix (posted recipe and its on my blog )
15 oz can creamed corn
1/3 c oil

combine ingredients and bake at 375° for 50-55 mins. Cool completely.



Cinnamon bun bread

bountiful beer bread mix (you know lol)
12 oz A & W Cream Soda
1 T cinnamon
2 T sugar
3 T melted butter
frosting

Combine first 4 ing. blend until moistened. Pour into greased loaf pan. Pour melted butter over top, sprinkle with additional cinnamon sugar mixture.
Bake at 350° for 55-60 mins. Slice or cube while still warm, drizzle with frosting (probably a powder sugar/milk mixture)?

Pineapple Bread

Bountiful beer bread mix
12 oz 7up
20 oz can crushed pineapple (drained)
3 T melted butter

Combine first three ing. and stir until moistened. Spread in greased loaf pan. Drizzle with butter, bake at 375° for 50-55 mins. Cool completely.

Peanut Butter and Jelly Bread

bountiful beer bread mix
6 oz package peanut butter chips
12 oz grape or strawberry soda
1/3 C jelly (same flavor as soda)
3 T melted butter

Combine first four ingredients. Blend until moistened. Spread into greased loaf pan; top with melted butter. Bake as directed on package. (350° 50-55 mins)

Summer Bread

Bountiful beer bread mix
12 oz orange juice
1 c raspberries
5 T powder sugar
1 T orange juice

Prepare bread mix with orange juice and raspberries, bake at 350° 50-55 mins. Prepare glaze by mixing powder sugar with remaining oj until glaze consistency. Pour over prepared bread while still warm. Cool completely


White Chocolate Pecan Scones
bountiful beer bread mix
12 oz cream soda
1½ c white chocolate chips
½ c chopped pecans
butter spray

Combine first 4 ing, stir 20-30 seconds. Drop by large spoonfuls onto greased baking sheet; spray tops with butter spray (ew? would brushed real butter work?) Bake at 350° for 30-35 mins.


Beer Batter Bread

Makes 1 loaf

3 cups flour

1 tablespoon baking powder

3 tablespoons sugar

1 teaspoon salt

1 bottle (12 ounces) beer, at room temperature

1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted

Preparation

Preheat the oven to 375°F. In a mixing bowl, combine all the dry ingredients. Add the beer all at once, mixing as little as possible; the batter should be lumpy. Pour the batter into a 9-x-5-x-3-inch loaf pan and brush with the melted butter. Bake in the oven for 35 to 40 minutes, or until an inserted skewer comes out clean. Turn out onto a rack to cool.

PS you can add cheese to this or jalapeno peppers or whatever you would any other beer bread.

Totally amazing ideas with that delicious mix. I knew I could find a web site that had some ideas. I knew that it probably could be made into different nut and berry loaves, but the savory ideas are so interesting too. I got my mix at Aldi store here in Omaha for only $1.29 per package! WHAT a buy. Our daughter used to sell it for a very high end company for %5.75 per box! I saved this and will try the savory recipes.

I knew that it probably could be made into different nut and berry loaves, but the savory ideas are so interesting too. I got my mix at Aldi store here in Omaha for only $1.29 per package!
